Levelling Up.

To become an effective and respected leader requires a dedication to your craft. In many ways it is no different from becoming a World Champion.

At its core, becoming a champion or winning leader requires self-mastery first and foremost. As you ascend the levels you have to keep stepping up your game simply because the ‘game’ gets bigger and bigger.

So, we have to become ‘more’ of what’s needed to overcome the greater tests thrown our way. And we can’t moan about it because we chose this route…but at any time we can decide to choose not to take part anymore.

This is self-mastery in action, the ability and responsibility to make decisions which will either take us towards or away from what we desire to achieve.

For example, when I was British Champion, I could have just settled there.

But when we have a burning desire to see how far we can go we set new levels to conquer. 

This is what true leaders do, and the journey itself makes you so much more.
